Orbit is a personal-finance app for the SE Asia market. They ran their entire pre-launch on the template — coming-soon page, waitlist capture, and admin dashboard — without writing a single auth flow.
Why the template
Orbit needed a credible-looking pre-launch site that could survive a podcast mention. Their previous attempt used a no-code page builder; the form fell over the day they got featured.
What they used
The waitlist page (Phase 33) writes to the existing Subscriber table tagged `waitlist`. The admin panel let the founders triage signups and segment by country code at launch time.
The OG image generator made every social share render the same Orbit blue, no design work required.
The day we got covered we had 4,000 signups in 90 minutes. The Supabase Postgres + the rate limiter held; nothing fell over.
