Checkout-first flow

POST /api/stripe/checkout returns a Checkout Session URL. The frontend redirects; success returns to /app/settings/billing.

Customer Portal

POST /api/stripe/portal opens a Stripe-hosted portal where users self-serve cancel, swap card, and view invoices.

Idempotent webhook

app/api/stripe/webhook/route.ts records every event in StripeEvent before processing. Replays are no-ops.
